ten-pin bowling 14/02/2002

Off to Stevenage for an evening of ten-pin bowling at their mega-bowl. It was quite easy to get to on the train and I arrived in plenty of time. We split into two groups for the first game. I started strongly but then it looked like Rob or Steve would win till Angela put a good series of balls together to look like odds on winner, only a couple of strikes on my last go could possibly beat her, and unlikely as it seemed I managed it.

My luck could not last however and poor Jane who was my partner in the next game had to watch me roll a good few balls down the gutter.
