Xmas pub Crawl  22/12/2001

Felt like I was driving through a blizzard to get to Long Melford for the start of the Annual Xmas Pubcrawl, The event did clash with a big party back in London, put I hadn't missed an xmas pubcrawl in well over 10years so the wheather wasn't going to make me turn back.

I was a bit late but luckily not as late as steve so I didn't have to face a fine for delaying the taxi. We caught up with the others at the first pub and set off on our annual endurance event. This year we had returned to last years venue Bury St Edmunds and followed our tried and trusted route with just a few changes. The beer flowed well and we had no casualties. The snow that fell was a bit unexpected on my part at least, as I seemed to have on 5 less layers than everyone else.

It did however give us the opportunity for a snowball fight in between pubs which helped to warm me up a bit. As usual the last pub proved entertaining, although Liz Hurley wasn't there this year, a guest appearance from nurse lilly and her friend proved entertaining.

We then caught taxi's back to the long melford Tandoori to pick up our curry order, which we had placed earlier, unfortunately I was too much of a lightweight to consume any of mine, but I devoured the cooked breakfast that Mark provided the next morning.
