The Grim Challenge 02/02/2003

Seeing as there were freezing conditions the night before Myself and Matthew were a bit concerned that we would get extremely frozen in the copious water sections promised on this 8 mile course.

In the end it wasn't as cold as we had expected, though the first immersion and the last were both shockers. We had a few cargo nets to cope with, and we also had some horseriding obstacles to get over.

I took it easy at the start but decided I needed to run a bit faster to keep warm, so eventually came home on the hour. Matthew was running this distance for the first time and did well to come in at 1:16mins, as he had to cope with quite a bit of overcrowding on the course.
