Met folks in the pitcher and piano opposite the Afghan kitchen. Wendy popped in for a drink before the meal.
We got ourselves seated in the kitchen at a big table in the window, which enabled the whole table to chat together. We had some Afghan champagne and tucked into
some tasty afghan food. My chicken balls were excellent and others had lamb in mint, we had afghan bread and bahklava as well as special chutneys and the likes.
It was all very tasty and the meal came to £15 a piece, incredibly good value. We popped back across the road afterwards to the pitcher and piano which was getting busier and busier. It was good to see a couple of new faces in John Lane and Jennifer.
