Mash 07/04/2005

A nice crowd along for this inevitable stop on the Jim's bar and diner circuit. A restaurant with a bar and it's own brewery. We met at 6.30pm as usual at the bar. Theo was already there which was impressive as he had come from Australia. Theo introduced me to the taster racks were you get samples of 4 different beers. These proved very popular. And a lot of folks were along just for the beer, and who could blame, them, nice to see new faces as well, apart from Theo it was Julie and fatema's first time at one of the meal's. We popped upstairs for our meal andit was rather tasty. Staple british food mainly, with mash and chips as you might expect, but very well done and you could have crumble and custard for afters as wel. Very resonable price for the 3 course meal as well. the brewery was most impressive, must pop in there for a beer sometime.
