Teresa Xmas 25/12/2012
I got up in time and drove to Teresa’s with no problems. It really was chucking down but by the time I got there it had stopped which was lucky. I gave Teresa her present of spam and got some truffles in return so that worked well. Teresa had made some bloody Marys and had Guinness crisps. Her friend’s kuon and Stephen came round and we chatted till it was time to go to the restaurant. One Bleinham Terrace was the restaurant and we had a very nice seat and got some complimentary fizz then ordered a bottle of rose champagne after that. We had starters and canapés and a main course that was so large that it was triple decker course. We finished with Christmas pudding, mince pies and a lot of cheese. More wine followed and we were stuffed so had to take the cheese away in doggy bag. We thought we were going to get wet as it had chucked down during the meal, but it cleared up just in time for us to leave. We settled back in at Teresa’s popped open the rose champagne and watched Watchman and Split Second. Teresa managed to fit in another salad and we also had another bottle of prosecco and some more bloody Marys. I eventually ran home the 7 miles at about 2.30 in the morning doing it in about 55 minutes, pretty fast.
