13/09/2015 Sunday

I got up at the reasonably early and walked to Adams I caught a taxi with Susan and Adam and we picked up Nirada on the way at Greenwich. We got to the event in good time and pulled up in front of the other taxi with Laura and Natalie and Nick and Jo then met Julian and Alice there and we all got changed into our outfits. Luckily the weather was good that day and my wineskin got a work out straight away as I had a beer in it. We set off near the back and maintained that pace to keep out of the Crowd it was quite busy at the first checkpoint where I had about 7 shots but then it got easier and easier. There was one point though where after a few drinks they had run out of wine so we pushed on quickly and over took the grapes and the butterflies to get to the next stop before them. The stops with really good. One stop had a band another had a really good four piece band and another had a Steel Band and one had cow bells. As usual I took a lot of pictures and we drink a lot of wine, red, white rose and a sparkling. Was quite drunk by the time I got to the finish line and had a hog roast. The butterflies were dancing manically so we joined them for a while before going to the pub for a last drink. Felt a bit snoozy on the train home with Adam and Susan.
