Managed to wake up at 2:50 a.m. and got in the taxi with Jools and Louise to take me to Gatwick Airport. No problem and met in the Red Lion with everybody. The flight was about 3 hours and take off about 6:25 I managed to get a couple of hours sleep on the plane which was good. The transfer at the other end was about 90 minutes which wasn't too bad and was in a small minibus. The hotel was quite impressive post-soviet humongous with a bar pool bowling Lane shooting alley all sorts. We had a quick beer and then went to get are skis fitted from the ski hire shop. I then had some beers with Nigel at a couple of places hi just quite nice. in the evening we have the meal in the hotel which was as much as you could eat which was quite good and then we went out to BJ's bar which was across the way. We played the nail game I played it very badly took a long time to not cracked nail in out till quite late it was good fun
I got up after breakfast and had to go on the lifts in town near the ski shop. I tried the Ed boots and some of the blues and then a red. Then I met Josh and Amy and we had a bit more they go together with them both boarding and then amy got tired and me and Josh continue for final run. We had apres ski in the Cool Runnings bar which is named after the film. Then there in the evening we went out to Mama casitas which was a Mexican restaurant and we all got to wear sombreros and I had chicken steak and a few beers and we then went next door to The Red Lion and there was karaoke so I did I Predict a Riot and I got carried out by a stag night who seem to like the performance. I went to bed after that probably about 1 o'clock.
Got up a bit late again luckily I missed some queuing at the lifts which was still quite extensive when I got there about 10:30 I did a few runs and then I found a josh & Amy again this time after a coffee we went and walk downtown to catch the gondola up to the other area that was a bit of a queue for that one and it took a long time to get to the top when we did get to the top Josh and Amy stop for some food and drink whilst I did laps going down and then up a very steep drag lift and then round flat bit so I did that a few times then Josh came with me and we did a very nearly dead which show had mughals in and was quite steep. So we decided to come down the Masala pathway which took nearly 40 minutes it was very flat but quite nice but because all the way back to town and next to Cool Runnings to have a few more beers.
I got out a little bit late to avoid the crowds managed to get up the lift and did a few good words and then found the trip was to go down the black one to get to the shorter queue at the bottom. Turned out when I looked at ski tracks later that the red one was steeper than the black one thirty seven degrees compared to 33 degrees. I met Josh and Amy and we went up the gondola again this time I stayed and had some food at a restaurant where we had to go down some very steep steps to get to. Afterwards we met Louise who would come up on the gondola myself and Josh did a lap and came down the Blu Amy set off the very long path way back to the town and we helped Louise get down with us. We got down in plenty of time and had a beer in the hotel and I bought some snacks. The transfer was uneventful and had a few more snacks in the airport while we waited for the plane which was a little delayed. The the plane was a bit delayed because of icy conditions and fog at Gatwick so when I got back there we ended up running for the train just actually getting it but then the tubes are closed so I had to catch to night buses to get home but I got home at 1 p.m. which was better than some folks.
